One thing's for sure: Oris has a good nose for what its customers will like. Ever since Paul Cattin and Georges Christian founded the company in 1904, it has made numerous breakthroughs, achieving milestones in its watch-making tradition. In the 1980s and early 1990s, typical watch consumers became more educated in the ways of mechanical watches and Oris reacted immediately to a growing demand for such timepieces, fueling an interest in its mechanical watches with the slogan, "it's high mech by Oris"
All Oris designs feature an ideal balance between nostalgically designed watches, slightly modified movements and affordable prices. Some of the most popular styles include:
