Kenneth Cole Watches
It's no wonder the design of Kenneth Cole watches is so creative: Kenneth Cole the man was just as innovative when he opened his shoe company in the 1980s. To stand out from the crowd, Cole borrowed a 40-foot trailer from a friend's business and obtained the permits he needed to park it in Midtown Manhattan (he obtained the permits by changing his letterhead from Kenneth Cole, Inc. to Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. and applying for a permit to shoot a full-length film: "The Birth of a Shoe Company"). He parked across from the New York Hilton on the day it was hosting a shoe show and opened for business with a fully furnished 40-foot trailer, a director, models and two doormen. In two and one-half days, he sold 40,000 pairs of shoes. True to its roots, the company remains Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. today.
"Why Wait?" after all, it's just a "Matter of Time" until you find a Kenneth Cole timepiece that speaks to you. Those are just two popular styles named with as much creativity and innovation as the company's bizarre beginnings. Other popular designs include Give Me a Minute, Bide My Time, Time and Again and Wait for Me. No matter what shape you desire, no matter what size suits you, you'll find a line of Kenneth Cole watches that you'll love to call your own.
