Dive Watches
Dive watches are some of the most popular watches to own, and not everyone is a scuba
diver. People like the abilities and looks of dive watches, and the most popular
dive watches are actually Japanese. Seiko and Citizen dive watches blow the competition
out of the water. Both companies make quite a few automatic models and have many collectors
chasing their products. Omega and Kobold also have small, but very loyal customers
suggesting that they also offer incredible products.
Dive watches generally are resistant to 100 or 200 meters and often offer a timer
built into the face notifying the diver how much air time they have left. Sometimes
dive watches are resistant to only 50 meters, which is still deeper than most divers
will actually go. Dive watches usually come with either a quick dry steel watch band
or a rubber dive band, and they tend to be a bit expensive to replace. They are
a few large forums on the internet dedicated only to dive watches, and the brands
mentioned above will be prevalent.
